Your "perspective" may have been well meant, but to me it reeked of parroting Russian propaganda. Also I get that people used to not want to work for the military. Peace in our time and all that. What civilized person wouldn't want that? But for me that changed when Russia invaded Ukraine again. We cannot afford to just stand by while Russia has their way, and China is waiting in the back to see how it goes. Europe needs to be able to defend itself against aggressors I too thought were a thing of the past. And Europe is working together to achieve that goal. And people who see the military as some sort of establishment that is the enemy can go fuck themselves IMO. AND it remains against everything Turing stood for. So maybe they shouldn't work at a place that honors his memory. But you just go ahead and defend the childishly naive if you want to. But don't expect the least bit of respect from me for tramping all over the memory of Turing, who was an admirable person in every way.

I was referring to how it affected website development, not UX. From my understanding of the article the author has noting against js, just how it affects the development process and architecture choices.

Thank you for your suggestion. I didn't think of building a cabin. Our land is collective and we can't just build a house casually. That's why we have to save money to build a house. Thank you always, I hope we can all have a bright future~

If anyone ever tells you they can't hire enough of blank they are lying to you. People have been running excellent 911 service all over the country for longer than I've been alive maybe they should ask someone?

Does anyone know if there's additional sandboxing of local ports happening for apps running in Private Space? E: Checked myself. Can access servers in Private Space from non-Private Space browsers and vice versa. So Facebook installed in Private Space is no bueno. Even if the time to transfer data is limited since Private Space is running for short periods of time, it's likely enough to pass a token while browsing some sites.

Did I say that it did? No? Then why the rhetorical question for something that I never stated? Now that we're past that, I'm not sure if I think it's okay, but I at least recognize that it's normalized within society. And has been for like 70+ years now. The problem happens with how the data is used, and particularly abused. If you walk into my store, you expect that I am monitoring you. You expect that you are on camera and that your shopping patterns, like all foot traffic, are probably being analyzed and aggregated. What you buy is tracked, at least in aggregate, by default really, that's just volume tracking and prediction. Suffice to say that broad customer behavior analysis has been a thing for a couple generations now, at least. When you go to a website, why would you think that it is not keeping track of where you go and what you click on in the same manner? Now that I've stated that I do want to say that the real problems that we experience come in with how this data is misused out of what it's scope should be. And that we should have strong regulatory agencies forcing compliance of how this data is used and enforcing the right to privacy for people that want it removed.
