Funny off topic story. When I was in grade 2 we were given asbestos to use in art class like clay. It was a very long time ago but I remember it was grey, felt nothing like clay. It was thick with soft spikes. When I heard asbestos was bad I wondered if it had affected me and I would die. Not so far.

How are you going to evaluate long term effects without practical experiments? They clearly have the money and its much easier and efficient to launch a real MVP than to design a complex set of simulations and tests.

Call it word salad, mashed potatoes or Peruvian causa, makes no difference to me. The fact remains that libertarianism is an American oligarch polemical strategy aimed at enabling corruption and keeping local plebs in line (because Americans respond particularly well to certain keywords and copytext). Denying that doesn't give you much credibility! Just think for a second how it makes you look! I saw all I needed by clicking a random article on the Cato's frontpage. It's is clear that they are demagogues and malicious. And I am willing to bet if we look at their funding, it is all run by oligarch/criminal groups. I am not going to deny basic facts about life "follow the money" based on some half assed rehortic. We good?

If you are within visual sight of the mainland, you can use a pair of point-to-point communication dishes to get internet from the mainland and beam it to yourself. These dishes, only having to communicate over a few miles and with direct line-of-sight, are pretty reliable and not terribly expensive.

This is also going to be used against the general populace. Setting up the Techno-Fuedal Surveillance state. The Militaries of the future will be policing their own countries more and more. Very soon the regular police will all have masks and blacked out helmets.

I'm specifically talking about toil when it comes to my job as a software developer. I already know I need an if statement and a for loop all wrapped in a try catch. Rather then spending a couple minutes coding that I have cursor do it for me instantly then fill out the actual code. Or, ive written something in python and it needs to be converted to JavaScript. I can ask Claude to convert it one to one for me and test it, which comes back with either no errors or a very simple error I need to fix. It takes a minute. Instead I could have taken 15min to rewrite it myself and maybe make more mistakes that take longer.
