Cory absolutely cooks every single time without fail. I'm also a huge fan of how he really doesn't budge on the point that corps are at fault for the enshitternet - I've followed him for years and that has always been his central point, or at least one of them. 10/10 writer and speaker too

That is horrific on many levels, he said, but "it is emblematic of 'enshittification'", which is one of the reasons he highlighted it.

I listen attentively to pretty much anything Cory Doctorow says about the internet and technology, he's been consistently insightful as hell on the subject. His books are also pretty good.

What book of his would you recommend reading first?

Not only that, but many of his books are freely available epubs with no DRM. You can read them and decide if you like his style before going on to buy the others.

I liked Little Brother. Didn't get into Homeland as much though.
