Google is hugely anti competitive. Why cant I use a different voice assistant on android? If I disable the google app Inlose voice control of my car. I get in your example they took their time but they were in the embrace phase.

So basically doing what Western Tech companies do in China? Just sounds like a way to isolate American users and control what they see and hear...a bit like what they do in China...huh.

The writers alleged in the complaint that Microsoft used a collection of nearly 200,000 pirated books to train Megatron, an algorithm that gives text responses to user prompts. Which Megatron are we referring to? This [image: c747568b-0dd5-431e-bd19-2fbfdf5d372c.webp] Or This [image: 735a9693-ec67-489c-92f6-addb803291a4.webp]

I'm a big fan of the manta "Make your designs as simple as possible and no simpler". Pointless complexity drives me nuts, but others take it too far and remove functionality by making things too minimal. It doesn't help that a lot of businesses optimize for people who make changes, so the positive feedback loop is change for the sake of change rather than improving the product.

IMO stuff like that is why a good trainer is important. IMO it's stronger evidence that proper user-centered design should be done and a usable and intuitive UX and set of APIs developed. But because the buyer of this heap of shit is some C-level, there is no incentive to actually make it usable for the unfortunate peons who are forced to interact with it. See also SFDC and every ERP solution in existence.
