Consumer Financial Protection Bureau used it to write “100% of deregulations”. Doesn't sound like very good protection. It should be illegal to use "AI" like this, making critical decisions with a technology well known for making massive errors is so fucking stupid I can't even.

You don't, but it's considerably quieter to use a liquid cooler on current high-end CPUs because of the amount of heat they dissipate. My current CPU has a considerably higher TDP than my last desktop's, but I finally broke down and put an AIO cooler on the new one, and all the fans on the radiator can run at a much lower speed than my last CPU because the radiator is a lot larger than one hanging directly off the CPU, can dump heat to the air a lot more readily. The GPU on that system, which doesn't use liquid cooling, has to have multiple slots and a supporting rail to support the weight because it has a huge heatsink hanging on a PCI slot that was never intended to support that kind of load, and the fans are far more spun up when it heats up. The amount of power involved these days is getting pretty high. My early PCs could manage with entirely passive cooling, just a heatsink. Today, the above CPU dumps 250W and the above GPU 400W. I have a small space heater in the same room that, on low, runs at 400W. I will kind of agree on the RGB LEDs, though. It's getting obnoxiously difficult to find desktop hardware that doesn't have those.

I have only tried a few of these. ChatGPT, Le Chat and then maybe a couple of days with Copilot and hours with Gemini. Unfortunately, Le Chat is a bit on the weaker side though I would prefer its success to others. Copilot sucked at everything including microsoft specific stuff like excel formulas and actually editing a sheet when it asked I upload it and then made insane changes that made no sense and presented it as accurate. Gemini, I dont like google and just avoided it straight away. ChatGPT is my go to, free only as I generally only use it as a sounding board or for broad simple research such as listing family events in my area, you know put together lists. What you say is my gripe with it too, I have told gpt to be concise, direct and critical and it improved but it needs reminding every few days not to run off into "great idea, heres why would you like more of ehy its great ad how to do it?"

This "amazing product" is causing major companies laying off their talents despite record high earnings. It makes money by making people poorer and the rich richer.

They can't eat Azure or use Azure to pay bills. OpenAI has to cause more people to lose their jobs and pocket their money as earning.

Its like some random social media account shows up and you never signed up but a profile for you has already been made and has all these photos you never even shared on there because someone chose to upload them in your place. Facebook literally does this, they just never let you see it, it's internal for advertising purposes

This has nothing to do with the tracking. You should have the same problem with anyone that has location turned on in their phone. Turning on GPS tracking for me and my wife has not given Google new data on our locations, as we use Google maps to navigate as is. I reject the premise that I'm violating someone else's privacy by doing so. I've also opted out of any app using my location without my express permission. You certainly wouldn't have the right to ask someone to turn something like that off simply because you don't trust the corporations on the other end, because you have no idea what service, what precautions they've taken, and if they're actively sharing. If you were going to do so, then you should also inspect people's phones for having location turned on, and check all their apps permissions for location.
