Thanks for clarifying. I responded to the title only as I didn't actually care what Michelle Yeoh thinks and just want to put this sad story into the dustbin of Trekstory. Georgiou was the only mildly interesting character in Discovery and season 2 was the only mildly not-awful one, so I had moderate hopes for that movie.
Honestly it could be something as prohibitive as not having secured film and TV rights from the authors.
I can imagine that doing it after the fact is often quite expensive.
oh gosh judgement rites... the fact they built a full on 2D dogfight simulator in that game was epic.
I got good enough at it that I could shoot down Trelane.
Spoiler alert — it didn't matter, he stranded you on the planet anyway.
It's like they didn't consult the daystrom institute at all! Haha
Although tbf I think the port and starboard thrusters are aft facing.
Spot on about the airlock though.
valuesubtracted@startrek.website CTV SciFi is still an add-on channel, which is unfortunate for freeloaders like me (I use an antenna which probably makes me a crusty old fart.)
It's pretty wild how wide-ranging these tariffs affect small scale manufacturers with in and out of the United States.
I've been hearing scattered reports across different industries all saying the same thing:
They have 60 days or less of inventory remaining.
They cannot order more because nobody Stateside will pay for those items at prices increased to offset the tariffs.
For companies with razor thin margins, even 1% changes the calculus. A 145% tariff is already well over the point of no return.
