If you're looking for a cell plan in Canada, I've been with Public Mobile, ‘discount Telus’, for years and am happy with their service. This is my referral link. You get a $10 credit and I get a "point”.
Their website is minimalist and good. Telus’ network is reliable and widespread (uses Bell elsewhere). You can order a SIM/eSIM online.
I have 40GB 5G for $35/mo unlimited in Canada. They have a special for 60GB 5G Canada/US/Mexico.

Both can claim they have their own facilities in province X when comes time to bid for spectrum in that province. But to users, every tower broadcasts both bell and Telus services so you see great big coverage for either. Towers broadcast both Bell and Telus services so when relying on a bell tower , you still use Telus network instead of roaming on Bell

I depend on it almost weekly.@EdwinG only Telus has VVM at this point still but I still get the same benefit on iPhone. I can see or hear my voicemail there regardless of carrier.

@chris @EdwinG curious to see if Public Mobile uses Telus SIM cards and all is done with the customer profile to determine service features or whether they use SIM cards with its own NMC. Public Mobile was an old CDMA carrier so when Telus bought its remains, it migrated customers to the bell/Telus gsm network instead of merging the networks as Rogers did when it bought fido.

@chris @EdwinG The separate SIM could be a management tricks to pretend Public Mobile is a seprate company that competes. Also makes it impossible for Telus customer to choose a cheaper package since they have to "switch carrier" to get a Public Mobile price with fees for new SIM etc.

It's nice though, it's $15 for the sim and worldwide PAYG via VoIP.ms so I basically end up paying something like $16 a month. 3GB data is likely a deal breaker if you're not an elder millennial like me.
