I am more of a Linux person (rather than a Windows person or a Mac person).

I have been using Linux since the year 1996. (And used a couple different Unix before that — Solaris & Irix).

So, a lot of the tools and applications I am familiar with are Linux tools. Such as Kdenlive, for video editing.

The laptop I am using right now is a Windows laptop. It used to be a test computer for me — to test things I was programming on Windows, too.

But —

At one point my (very young) daughter broke my Linux laptop. And, this Windows laptop because my main laptop. (WIth me using the Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL) on it.)

I didn't feel like paying for another brand new computer when I still had this one.

So, as a result, Kdenlive is running on Windows.

(It is already getting boosted. And, I can see there has views.)
