Nobody gonna mention that he was throwing rocks and nailed a pig in the face? Nobody? This is not some harmless protestor. This guy directly assaulted a cop. Don't know what you expect them to do.
I don't gotta problem with it, but his actions were illegal as hell. Before anyone says it, no, they wouldn't deploy this tech if you or I were the victim. But you can hardly blame the state for protecting their own.

- Then they go after those who wore masks - Fine by me, I wasn't wearing no masks.
- Then they go after those who were shouting - Fine by me, I wasn't shouting.

The criminal complaint lists a pink gas mask and a forearm tattoo as distinct clues that led investigators to use third-party software to help make an arrest."Technology has transformed the act of being in public," Crump said. "People who engage in political protests need to understand that it's very difficult to do that anonymously."
Since June, 23 people have been arrested on charges connected to ICE protests in Southeast Portland.

Always wear non-descript long-sleeve black shirts. Loose fitting and easily moved in black pants. Non-descript black face-mask. Non-descript black safety sunglasses. Non-descript black gloves. Make sure tattoos or other identifying marks are covered. Never take off your mask. If you can, the best option is to thrift these options and buy them with cash.
Temporary tattoos can help confound identification.

it's good to know that the US must be in fantastic shape that the FBI even has the resources to spend on this.
We are still a very rich country. We just choose to use that money on bombing brown people and arresting dissidents rather than ensuring we have good healthcare and educated citizens.
