@bh4-tech hmm, looks like it's related to how Threads is processing the mention. They're not capturing the dash, so it could be the remote account still exists.

@reiver@mastodon.social tentatively, although travel often complicates and I can't commit right now of course.

@bert_hubert@fosstodon.org was this happening regularly, intentionally, or simply by default? In my dealings with clients it's always been "can we host in Amsterdam or Frankfurt, because I don't want to host in the US".

@hamiller_friendica@anonsys.net @puppygirlhornypost2@transfem.social the "home feed" is sacrosanct. Content discovery should be separate. Simple. Real question is where do you draw the line between an algo for utility and whatever is beyond that?

@Kichae test against a new account on ActivityPub.academy, when you tag your account it should notify you and show up in world. Does that happen? If not, run NodeBB in dev mode (so AP logging is output to console) and try again. Let me know what NodeBB says when it receives the activity.

@jupiter_rowland@hub.netzgemeinde.eu if you're seeing Hubzilla backfill "bit by bit" it is likely doing inReplyTo traversal, which is what NodeBB does if it cannot find a resolvable context.

@Jakub-Urbanowicz can you please: create a test account on ActivityPub.academy Run your NodeBB in dev mode (./nodebb dev) mention your account on your forum? Have your forum account reply back. See if there are any errors logged. ActivityPub errors are only logged to console in dev mode.
