CALL FOR URGENT ACTION to stop Chat Control legislation in EU
-
The linked petition says:
The European Parliament MPs must vote AGAINST Chat Control legislation during EPlenary vote in June-August 2021.
It's not even up to date. And it only has 1.8k signatures.
Is there more actual petition?

Not a petition exactly but I found https://fightchatcontrol.eu/
There might be others, I didn't look that long and I'm not in the EU so idk

We should vote and learn how to shoot. Sign petitions and learn how to use privacy tools.
When used with a bridge/Snowflake, Tor can bypass government censorship. It works in China for example.
I don’t trust tor. It’s western tech developed by the US and they’ve been caught lying multiple times about security features being removed from tor browser.
I’m glad it’s there and we should always have multiple options but at this point i2p has more credibility and fewer questionable ties than tor does.

This one is great and asks you to contact members of the European Parliament

Religious people are counted on to support this. Not to sound like an edgy teenager but while you yourself might know better, the vast majority of people looking for a shepherd are sheep. And the vast majority of people signing up to be a shepherd just want a flock.
I cannot, as much as I would like to, argue with that. What you are saying is a very well documented fact. Most Christians are following the man/woman at the front of the congregation, not Christ, and that is the reason why they end up just blindly repeating whatever those "leaders" say like parrots.
I'm all too aware of how messed up religion is worldwide (every single one of them, no exceptions).
Additionally, regardless of your age, belief, race, sexual orientation, political inclination or choice of t-shirt, never apologize for voicing your thoughts. In most of the congregations I've been in, I'm considered the "stumbling stone" because I have no problem calling out a pastor when they are trying to use bible verses to make everyone see things the way they want them to. I'm not saying they all do it with I'll intent, but intention is irrelevant.
Young people like you are the ones that will help make this world better by exercising they critical thinking and freedom of speech.

Tor is more established than I2P but they're both good, using either is a dramatic improvement in your privacy.

The public launch of tor was only 1 year before i2p.

I'm a religious cunt, a Christian cunt if you want to be specific, and this bullshit about controlling the population is NOT part of my faith. As a matter of fact, it goes entirely against my faith, and is extremely detrimental to every single Christian.
Having said that, this is simple. Religious people that support all this are the same so because it adheres to their end game, not because of their faith.
Nonsense it’s the entire purpose of religion, it is a system of control

Sure, that is your reality, and I respect that you are sure that's the case (and in many cases it is), but I happen to believe that there are shades of gray from the whitest white to the darkest black. So you do you, I'll follow my own reality.
I think we can easily be in agreement that following a man or woman because of religion is, not only detrimental, but also dangerous. Whatwe will certainly disagree on is that, for me, Jesus is God, and for you, believing that makes me n irrational sheep. And that's cool, I don't think that should be a reason for one of us to hate the other, or even simply be angry (or anything similar, my English vocabulary is not too extensive).
I brought up religion because it was brought up. So, yeah, I'm not one of those that goes around pushing my believes on others, but the moment I see Jesus attacked, I will defend Him the same way He died for me on that cross.
