I don’t think that’s a completely fair comparison. They are both state tools for establishing power through narratives. They are both heavily biased.
But RT is Orwellian in that it just makes shit up and has no respect for even appearing credible. While RFE/RFL tends to be biased towards publishing pro-western stories, but they don’t tend to make shit up from scratch.
Of course, who knows what the fuck is happening there right now, my analysis is pre-Trump 2024.

The indoctrination system in USA is completely controlled by the MIC. Almost all of the R&D is funded for violence. This starts way before college. Probably every kid will be working for the military at some point. Drones are just the tip of the iceberg:

Hey guess what? Both of these can be bad. I'd argue that the case in "Russia" is a bit worse, seeing as this is actually not Russia, but Crimea. That said, the militarization of children is fucking awful anywhere.
