I hate this repeated idea that everyone can make good art, and it just takes time and hard work. Motherfucker, we ain't got the time! Just let people enjoy seeing an expression for an idea in the their head without spending time or money they don't have

Nah, my local bloodsucking electricity monopoly (SE Wisconsin) will be charging the new datacenters the lowest possible per kWh rate, and due to the huge expected demand just got approval to build new natural gas power plants that ALL of us government mandated customers get to pay for. You know, for the demand that would never exist if we weren’t subsidizing the brand new datacenters. It’s a complete scam.

I've not seen an ad in years, so they can try to monetize me but will fail spectacularly

Remember when that useless bot was around here, objectively wrong, and getting downvoted all the time? Good times.

That would be 1 in 4 users and that's just not accurate at all. What you mean to say is 25% of Windows users still use windows 7. Its still an alarming statistic, and no wonder bruteforce cyberattacks are still so effective today considering it hasn't received security updates in like 10 years. I sincerely hope those people aren't connecting their devices to the internet like, at all. I'm fairly sure at this point even using a Debian based distro is better than sticking to windows 7.

I actually wouldn't enjoy talking to most people at work, because that would involve going there instead of doing it from the computer where I already am

Bit misleading. Tumour-associated antigens can very easily be detected very early. Problem is, these are only associated with cancer, and provide a very high rate of false positives They're better used as a stepping stone for further testing, or just seeing how advanced a cancer is That is to say, I'm assuming that's what this is about, as i didnt rwad the article. It's the first thing I thought of when I heard "cancer in bloodstream", as the other options tend to be a bit more bleak Edit: they're talking about cancer "shedding genetic material", which I hate how general they're being. Probably talking about proto oncogenes from dead tumour debris, but seems different to what I was expecting

That’s not the right analogy here. The better analogy would be something like: Your scary mafia-related neighbor shows up with a document saying your house belongs to his land. You said no way, you have connections with someone important that assured you your house is yours only and they’ll help you with another mafia if they want to invade your house. The whole neighborhood gets scared of an upcoming bloodbath that might drag everyone into it. But now your son says he actually agrees that your house belongs to your neighbor, and he’s likely waiting until you’re old enough to possibly give it up to him.
