Surely, but the content is the same old stuff on each app.

Who’s still streaming?

that's why it's almost as shitty as TV now
Network TV still has a huge benefit: it's not capable of watching you.
(Not accounting for the smart TVs, which are basically the only kind of TV you can buy now.)

I thought this would've been the case almost 10 years ago. Especially when streaming wasn't littered with ads.
I'd guess that the stats were thrown off every small business that has an annoying TV blaring in the background

I get live television through Sling. Piracy doesn't really work if you want live TV.

It's based on Neilson ratings so it's entirely dependent on whatever methodology they choose to use at the time. They can't actually directly count what every TV is tuned to.

Use an antenna and a HDHomeRun. I can watch our local channels directly through Plex.

Just break into the studio to watch them film the show in person.

CNN is not an antenna station.

Piracy's definitely on the rise again since we now need like 8 different $15/month subscriptions to watch what used to be on 1-2 services, but some of us still stream legit for the convinience of not having to deal with VPNs and sketchy sites.
