Yeah, and its most likely only due to them killing Windows 10 in the fall, which means a lot of companies have been working hard this year to replace a ton of computers before October. Anyone who has been down this road with 7 to 10 knows it will just cost more money if you need to continue support after that. They sell you a new license thats good for a year that will allow updates to continue. It doubles in cost every year after.

Ok so you definitely don't understand how DLSS works lol. DLSS has to be implemented by the developers of the game. They literally have to use the DLSS APIs in their game code. DLSS requires things like the player input and motion vectors for all scenes, materials, and objects that are in the frame. It adds time to the rendering pipeline. The more powerful your GPU the less rendering time it adds. [image: 26a2a2b7-18ce-426e-a028-ac2be950e5a8.png] We're getting way off track now anyway, so to go back to the start: DLSS Super Resolution is amazing because it lets you get a framerate bump with either little-to-no visibile change to IQ, to a very noticeable degradation of IQ depending on how much of a framerate bump you get. It is one of the most significant advancements in gaming this century IMO. On my PC with a 4070 Super, I can play COD BO6 at a near locked 120fps on my 4K 120hz VRR tv at "4K" using DLSS, whereas my PC definitely cannot do that without DLSS. It looks like native 4K, and believe me I've taken many screenshots and compared them at 300% zoom lol.

I'm not afraid of that at all. But if you draw shit tons of power from a crappy socket, things start to heat up real quick. Like getting really fucking hot, as in burn your house down hot.

AI isn't math formulas though. AI is a complex dynamic system reacting to external input. There is no fundamental difference here to a human brain in that regard imo. It's just that the processing isn't happening in biological tissue but in silicon. Is it way less complex than a human? Sure. Is there a fundamental qualitative difference? I don't think so. What's the qualitative difference in your opinion?

The biggest tech companies are still trimming from pandemic over hiring. Smaller companies are still snatching workers up. And you also have companies trimming payroll for the coming Trump recession. Neither have anything to do with AI.

and even without it, you'll get 150mA @ 5V by default out of the USB 3 host upstream and up to 900mA with some pretty basic USB negotiation in a protocol that dates from USB 1.0 That's wrong. With USB Type-C, you can get the power up to 3A @ 5V with just two 5.1kΩ resistor on CC pins.
