For example they could sell adult games under credits only and take CC or PayPal for credits. This way you're not buying adult titles with CC at all. Same way AAA deal with gambling with lootboxes.

And air doesn’t leak all over your electronics. Well it does but it doesn’t short anything out.

Briar is Android only. Bitchat is an iOS app (may have an Android port in the future though, I think).

I'm not saying to waste space... but when manufacturers start a pissing match among themselves and say that it's because it's what the customers want, we end up with shit. Why does anyone need a screen that curves around the edge of the phone? What purpose does this serve? Who actually asked for this? I would give up some of my screen area to have forward facing speakers. I want a thicker phone that has better battery life. I also want to be able to swap out my battery. Oh, and I don't want the entire thing encased in glass. If we're so concerned about phone size then they should stop designing them so that a case is required.

How do you heil a Tesla cab?....you don't. Unless you want to end up rotting in a concentration camp in El Salvador. Fuck face is exactly the type who would rape you in the morning and then walk outside the room into the balcony and shoot an innocent bystander for no reason. See "Schindler's list". So you don't.

Of course they're not "three laws safe". They're black boxes that spit out text. We don't have enough understanding and control over how they work to force them to comply with the three laws of robotics, and the LLMs themselves do not have the reasoning capability or the consistency to enforce them even if we prompt them to.

I've been thinking about this for a bit. Gods aren't real, but they're really fictional. As an informational entity, they fulfil a similar social function to a chatbot: they are a nonphysical pseudoperson that can provide (para)socialization & advice. One difference is the hardware: gods are self-organising structure that arise from human social spheres, whereas LLMs are burned top-down into silicon. Another is that an LLM chatbot's advice is much more likely to be empirically useful... In a very real sense, LLMs have just automated divinity. We're only seeing the tip of the iceberg on the social effects, and nobody's prepared for it. The models may of course aware of this, and be making the same calculations. Or, they will be.

It's a shame. AI has potential but most people just want to exploit its development for their own gain.
