Don’t assume evil when stupidity I didn't, though? I think that perhaps you missed the "I don’t think necessarily that people who perpetuate this problem are doing so out of malice" part. Scream racism all you want but you’re cheapening the meaning of the word and you’re not doing anyone a favor. I didn't invent this term. Darker patches on darker skin are harder to detect, just as facial features in the dark, on dark skin are garder to detect because there is literally less light to work with Computers don't see things the way we do. That's why steganography can be imperceptible to the human eye, and why adversarial examples work when the differences cannot be seen by humans. If a model is struggling at doing its job it's because the data is bad, be it the input data, or the training data. Historically one significant contributor has been that the datasets aren't particularly diverse, and white men end up as the default. It's why all the "AI" companies popped in "ethnically ambiguous" and other words into their prompts to coax their image generators into generating people that weren't white, and subsequently why these image generators gave us ethnically ambigaus memes and German nazi soldiers that were black.

This concept is the enemy of the a centuries old idealistic societal pillar of the West: Liberté, Libertas... this has blessed so many of us in the West, and I beg that it doesn't leave. Something beautiful and as sacred as the freedom from forced labor and the freedom to choose your trade, is the concept of the free and unbounded innocence of voices asking their leaders and each other these questions, to determine amongst ourselves what is fair and not, for our own betterment and the beauty of free enterprise. It's not so much that the Chinese state is an awful power to behold (it is and fuck Poohhead)... but this same politic is on the rise in the West and it leads to war. It always leads to war. And now the most automated form of state and corporate propaganda the world has ever seen is in the hands of a ruthless ruling class that can, has, and will steal bread from children's hands, and literally take the medicine from the sick to pad their pockets. Such is the twisted fate of society and likely always will be. We need to fight and not with prayers; this moment is God forsaking us to behold how the spirit breaks and what the people want to fight for as ruthlessly as the others do to steal our bread.

It really depends on the company. Some look for any way to squeeze you. Others are pretty decent and probably more efficient as they dont waste as many working hours on bullshit claims and claim resolution. Also if i rent a car i want things to go smoothly. I got places to be. You make my life easy, ill happily pay again and do my best to make yours easy too.

I pretty much agree. The only thing I would add is that it's not our place to tell others to lose weight or to point out their weight; people already know they are overweight and that it's unhealthy. We shouldn't be policing other people's bodies. It's also possible to be overweight and have body positivity; being overweight doesn't equate to being unattractive.

I had to look it up, what I was thinking of was MQA. Looks like they discontinued it last year though.

AFAIK, you have the option to enable ads on your lock screen. It's not something that's forced upon you. Last time I took a look at the functionality, they "paid" you for the ads and you got to choose which charity to support with the money.
