@reiver I think you could, but you'd need to have data processing agreements in place for the sharing of that data.

Someone in the audience asked what I was also thinking — you could create a community specific search-provider server.

(Ex: just for science community, or toy photography community, etc.)

Extant centralized social media is good for marketing (your content), not for the distribution of your content.

So, many have a site that they own for distribution and use extant centralized social-media to market and get people there to the site they own.
