I honestly think Musk will reserve the CEO position for himself. He's getting more and more power hungry lately. There's no way he's gonna share it with someone. And even if he does does appoint a CEO they will just be a rubber stamp.

People just don't want to quit because the alternatives aren't populated enough.... Which is caused by people not leaving. Twitter is to many a necessity for their business, just like many softwares provided by scum companies.

Taking the position himself would rob him of a layer of insulation from public opinion. He'll find himself another rubber stamp, if he can find someone who's sufficiently stupid, greedy, and/or desperate to take the job (and there always is someone). I'm not convinced she actually did anything as "CEO." I'm sure that Elon just told her what to do/say and she made it seem like they were her ideas. There's no way she had any ability to make any real changes or do any real work.
