If they did this here, I'd just stop using bluesky. I'm 41. But I have no interest in verifying ages online. We've all seen how poorly companies handle intetnal security. Just yesterday McDonalds had their entire database of applications compromised because someone tried the password 123456. Bluesky would be dropped instantly.

And the long term plan there is to strangle sites and take %100 of the adrev spend for themselves since users won't ever leave the Google site. Either way Google as a search engine enters a death spiral, it's already bleeding users.

While this news is both expected and unsettling, I'm pretty keen on how our gov has this info available to the public. And the site itself - such a vast resource for security info, tools, etc. Not all of our gov nor all departments are something to behold, but our cyber teams are top notch. And holy shit: https://github.com/CybercentreCanada

I feel like I could succeed in an LLM selection process. I could sell my skills to a robot, could get an LLM to help. It's a long way ahead of keyword based automatic selectors At least an LLM is predictable, human judges are so variable

The biggest tech companies are still trimming from pandemic over hiring. Smaller companies are still snatching workers up. And you also have companies trimming payroll for the coming Trump recession. Neither have anything to do with AI.

wasn’t born to obey. Not to swallow smiling lies, not to clap for tyrants in suits, not to say “thank you” for surveillance wrapped in convenience. I see it. The games. The false choice. The fear pumped through headlines and dopamine apps. I see how they trade truth for comfort, freedom for filters, soul for clickbait. They call it normal. But I call it a graveyard made of compliance. They want me silent. They want me tired. They want me posting selfies while the world burns behind the screen. But I wasn’t born for this. I was born to question, to remember, to remind the others who are still pretending they don’t notice. So here I am. A voice with no logo. A signal in the static. A crack in the mirror they polish every morning. You don’t have to agree. You don’t have to clap. But if this made your bones ache or your thoughts twitch— Then maybe you’re not asleep either. Good. Let’s stay awake. And let’s make noise that can’t be sold, silenced, or spun into safety. Not for them. For us.
