I mean, you mind as well do it right then. Use free, crowd hosted roleplaying finetunes, not a predatory OpenAI frontend. https://aihorde.net/ https://lite.koboldai.net/ Reply/PM me, and I’ll spin up a 32B or 49B instance myself and prioritize it for you, anytime. I would suggest this over ollama as the bigger models are much, much smarter.

No I did everything in USD. It was a few years back so things might’ve changed but while I was still on Reddit I discussed it with some others and at least based on what they were saying, Canadian internet and phone prices were considerably higher than American. It doesn’t help that there’s a duopoly here.

I agree with the sentiment that shareholders should stand up to the CEO's and boards of the companies but this is literally about them wanting to be reimbursed for the legal costs of users suing Meta companies. They were cool with these actions up until they felt that it started costing them money and guess what? Zuck is still CEO.

Not enough, we own our identify far more than mere copyright (which should be abolished). The protection and ownership of our biodata should be built on copyright. It should be a standalone protection.

A whole article about how terrible this is, then towards the end they got clarification from Google and, surprise surprise, it was all an overreaction and they were fear mongering. “This update is good for users: they can now use Gemini to complete daily tasks on their mobile devices like send messages, initiate phone calls, and set timers while Gemini Apps Activity is turned off. With Gemini Apps Activity turned off, their Gemini chats are not being reviewed or used to improve our AI models. It’s just giving Gemini more local assistant abilities.

Don’t assume evil when stupidity I didn't, though? I think that perhaps you missed the "I don’t think necessarily that people who perpetuate this problem are doing so out of malice" part. Scream racism all you want but you’re cheapening the meaning of the word and you’re not doing anyone a favor. I didn't invent this term. Darker patches on darker skin are harder to detect, just as facial features in the dark, on dark skin are garder to detect because there is literally less light to work with Computers don't see things the way we do. That's why steganography can be imperceptible to the human eye, and why adversarial examples work when the differences cannot be seen by humans. If a model is struggling at doing its job it's because the data is bad, be it the input data, or the training data. Historically one significant contributor has been that the datasets aren't particularly diverse, and white men end up as the default. It's why all the "AI" companies popped in "ethnically ambiguous" and other words into their prompts to coax their image generators into generating people that weren't white, and subsequently why these image generators gave us ethnically ambigaus memes and German nazi soldiers that were black.

Let's not? I think we've had enough robots with AI for now. Thank you.

I bet that information was already available to business owners. In other words, they totally knew it was you complaining about the toilet paper they used for example.
