Isn't the big problem that the US government does not classify the ongoing genocide as genocide?
As an internationally active company there is many jurisdictions, where Microsoft can be held accountable.

Very brave. Tech industry is a very tightly knit circle. If they’re known around as employees who put morals above profits they’ll find themselves not welcomed in many companies. Sad reality.

It means their expertise can only benefit companies that value morals.

Wasn't Putin declared a war criminal by some nation states but then nothing happens? And didn't the same happen to Israels prime minister? (Cant recall how to spell his name and not going to search for it now)Maybe I'm just jaded but I don't see consequences coming for those who deserve it, I mean, the president of the united states is a convicted criminal...

Yes, and Microsoft lawyers have certainly gone over the contracts and communications to ensure that they’re always going to have plausible deniability as to what their client was doing.
The best we could hope for is some engineers to become whistleblowers and share what was said during in-person meetings, unrecorded conversations and in side channels, like Signal chats.
No Microsoft executives will ever see any legal consequences for this.
Yeah... Thats most likely what is happening. Lets hope for the courage of people on the inside.

Putin cant visit most countries anymore. Netanyahu neither. Exceptions are the US who want to destroy the ICC anyways and recently Hungary who now want to leave the ICC to suck up to Netanyahu.

Military contracts and genocide are two different things.
Like sure military contracting causes a net harm to society but we can't fault people for drawing a line somewhere.

The line gets really blurry if the contract is with a company from the most belligerent country on earth... sorry but unless you're a greybeard I cannot really sympathetize if you work for GAFAM (or whatever the acronym is now).

Was Switzerland one of those countries? Because their stance now is that they will not arrest him if he goes for peace talks. I guess the reasonsing is the goal of the visit: peace talks, but we all can deduce that nothing will come of those talks that is positive to Ukraine.
