  • I'm sure its my propaganda that named major streets in Ukraine after Ukrainian Nazis, have statues scattered all over the country celebrating Nazis.

Your claims of 'i speak Russian in Ukraine' bullshit holds no water.

It's your propaganda that denies that Russia cooperated with Nazis through 1939 to 1941 to invade and split up Europe.

Yes Ukrainian nationalists did bad things during WW2. That being said Nazis and russians are equally bad. The russians organized a genocide of Ukrainians that killed millions.

You are reciting russian propaganda because you support russian genocidal imperialism.

You can stick that water up your ass for an enema.

We both know you are a disgusting degenerate that has no clue about Ukraine and russia.

  • Did you read the article?

Can you explain the arguments without a web search?

Of course not, because you are just reciting online roleplay bullshit.

Give me something that would shows you're not just a random degenerate lying about things you don't understand.

    This shouldn't be difficult.

Don't even bother aggressively googling for random shit. I will of course see through it because ... wait for it ... I lived in Russia during the 1996 election and I speak russian.

You seem to be an unhinged fragile snowflake

  • You seem to be an unhinged fragile snowflake

As you say my tankie cockroach.

  • Ukraine, like many other countries, is being used as a pawn for the Western regime's agenda.

It seems like Western pro-war people are okay with continuing this war until the last Ukrainian is kidnapped and sent to the front lines so that the oligarchs can gain more natural resources and military contracts.

Propaganda really works on most Western people; Russiagate and Russiophobia are still seen as serious issues...

Even after we learned (Snowden leaks) that our governments lie to us so they can maximize their for-profit forever wars in the Middle East, now they are attempting to antagonize Iran and China.

jimmy dore lmao. imagine getting your politics from a shitty youtube "comedian".

  • jimmy dore lmao. imagine getting your politics from a shitty youtube "comedian".

I see him as a comedian with populist opinions and rants.

Feel free to post critical videos on the JD community; all are welcome.

Don't forget to have higher standards for politicians than for comedians.

The politicians (lackeys of oligarchs) are the ones with real power and influence to change our society for better or mostly for the worst.

    All is well, peace.

  • It's nothing personal against you, I just feel the need to comment whenever I hear his name because I feel played, because I used to follow his writing. I think he is a genuinely nasty piece of work and a henchman for oligarchs. Peace.

Thanks for the chat and th information you provided!

  • Snowden exposed Palantir?

You Americans really need some heroes. Snowden might have done some good, but as soon as things got hot he folded like a cheap lawn chair and openly supported russian genocidal imperialism.

I hope Snowden and his family (his wife and kid) meet the same fate as they wish for Ukrainians in internment camps in the occupied territories.

How did Snowden openly supported Russian genocidal imperialism?

Snowden is often criticizing Russian government and has shown no signs of working for them. Him being in Russia is because he is hunted by USA. If anything russia is supporting snowden

Snowden messaging is directly aligned with russian security services and their key propaganda narratives.

Look at his messaging before the full scale invasion; until the invasion he was distributing russian propaganda about how "the invasion is not happening" and some world salad about NATO and BATO.

He routinely promotes messaging supportive of russian imprialism and spreads known falsehoods.

Snowden does not critize the russian government. Don't lie.

What messaging, what are you talking about? He has been laying low for years. His latest interview was Jan31 and the only relevant thing is him denying working for Russia

Do you have any articles to back up "folding like an lawn chair","routinely promoting messaging supportive of Russian imperialism","spreading falsehoods"

Here is how you do it: Here is an article about Snowden criticizing Russian government. https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/sheerafrenkel/is-edward-snowden-trying-to-get-vladimir-putins-attention

So show us his "messaging" that is" directly aligned with russian security services and their key propaganda narratives". If he is promoting Russian propaganda you can find at least tweet that applies, right?

I gave you a specific example. Do a search for his tweets before Feb 24 2022 regarding Ukraine. Note how he was parroting russian official channel claims that the full scale invasion is not happening and ridiculing US security services (that correctly predicted that it is happening). Now do a search for official russian statements on this issue for this period.

You can do the searching yourself or feel free to assume that I am lying in order to discredit your little angel.

Secondly do lookup on who he promotes and what kind of things they say about Ukraine. This includes individuals claiming that everyone in Ukraine are Nazis and that Russia invasion was justified by security concerns. Both messages are openly promoted but the russians.

I stand corrected, there is an example of him criticizing the russian government. Then again, this almost from 10 years ago.

I gave you examples from the last few years.

You didn't give me a specific example, you made me look it up. And when I looked it up I found a tweet with a wrong prediction that he said was wrong 10 days later.

Insulting me is not gonna change my opinion or anyone who reads this. Backing up your claims with something more than "look it up" maybe will.

No shit, he said he was wrong after the full scale invasion began. It would be very strange for him to claim that "the invasion" is not happening after russia invaded.

Before that he was openly parroting russian narratives about how US intel was incorrect and how the invasion wasn't happening.

    16 Feb 2022

Many times. Want me to say it again? "Russia should not invade Ukraine."

The reason I don't say it more is because it's a non-statement: everybody agrees with it, even Russians. The only people who think slogans solve the problem are people who don't understand the conflict.

Lying about russian attitudes. 85% (with adjustments for preference falsification) of russians support the annexation of Crimea; the beginning of the invasion of Ukraine.

    15 Feb 2022

I want to see an end to the conflict in Ukraine, and frankly, I think all reasonable people share that position. The question nobody seems to want to contend with is whether amplifying official claims made without evidence are reducing hostilities, or are in fact provoking them.

    3 Feb 2022

TIME paints here a very different picture of the Ukraine crisis, reporting that it is a drive to censor and criminalize the domestic political opposition—a drive encouraged by the White House—that has brought some to believe war is the only option.

He even uses the russian term "Ukraine crisis" and blames Ukrainians for russian aggression (ironic considering how "open" politics are in russia).

He routinely promotes Glenn Greenwald (who said all Ukrainians are Nazis) and David Sachs, both of whom are openly supportive of russian genocidal imperialism.

I highly doubt you'll change your opinion on Snowden. Generally speaking, it would be difficult for Snowden fanboys to admit that their hero isn't the paragon of virtue that they claim he is.

    Political tribalism works.

We must stop falling for the divide and conquer strategies of the duopoly (lackeys of the oligarchs).

“I would unite with anybody to do right and with nobody to do wrong.” – Frederick Douglass

Instead of fighting over political leanings, try to hear what their arguments are and see where you agree.

This will help us be willing to discuss and unify all working-class people on what views we share instead of just focusing on what we don't agree on.

  • I understand why the highly emotional response; we all have our subject that is dear to us. Mine is the Palestine genocide that is funded and fully supported by my country, the United States.

Fuck Glenn Greenwald. He is a russian shill and supports russian genocidal

I would implore you to stop only consuming Western pro-war propaganda and check out people like Professor Jeffrey Sachs.

He outlines, in simple terms, the events that led to the war between Ukraine and Russia, as well as the Western push to also antagonize Iran and China.

Self-built echo chambers and self-censorship are not healthy, nor do they help our society; we must always be critical of our governments and the politicians (paid-off lackeys of the owner class, oligarchs).

Fuck Russia and fuck you, you piece of shit

  • Fuck Russia and fuck you, you piece of shit

We all get emotional on certain topics; it is understandable.

    All is well, peace.

Seeing so many disingenuous conservatives clutching their pearls about this, while being completely fine with unspeakably cruel shit they're doing to immigrants (including green card holders, and others who are here legally) is infuriating. Fucking shameful. Property damage to insured vehicles owned by a corporation vs. actual human beings

This is good to know. I hadn't read the fine print, because I abandoned Telegram and never looked back. I hope its true and I agree, I also wouldn't think they'd do this and then renege into a possible lawsuit.

(Premise - suppose I accept that there is such a definable thing as capitalism) I'm not sure why you feel the need to state this in a discussion that already assumes it as a necessary precondition of, but, uh, you do you. People blaming capitalism for everything then build a country that imports grain, while before them and after them it’s among the largest exporters on the planet (if we combine Russia and Ukraine for the “after” metric, no pun intended). ...what? What does this have to do with literally anything, much less my comment about innovation/competition? Even setting aside the wild-assed assumptions you're making about me criticizing capitalism means I 'blame [it] for everything', this tirade you've launched into, presumably about Ukraine and the USSR, has no bearing on anything even tangentially related to this conversation. People praising capitalism create conditions in which there’s no reason to praise it. Like, it’s competitive - they kill competitiveness with patents, IP, very complex legal systems. It’s self-regulating and self-optimizing - they make regulations and do bailouts preventing sick companies from dying, make laws after their interests, then reactively make regulations to make conditions with them existing bearable, which have a side effect of killing smaller companies. Please allow me to reiterate: ...what? Capitalists didn't build literally any of those things, governments did, and capitalists have been trying to escape, subvert, or dismantle those systems at every turn, so this... vain, confusing attempt to pin a medal on capitalism's chest for restraining itself is not only wrong, it fails to understand basic facts about history. It's the opposite of self-regulating because it actively seeks to dismantle regulations (environmental, labor, wage, etc), and the only thing it optimizes for is the wealth of oligarchs, and maybe if they're lucky, there will be a few crumbs left over for their simps. That’s the problem, both “socialist” and “capitalist” ideal systems ignore ape power dynamics. I'm going to go ahead an assume that 'the problem' has more to do with assuming that complex interacting systems can be simplified to 'ape (or any other animal's) power dynamics' than with failing to let the richest people just do whatever they want. Such systems should be designed on top of the fact that jungle law is always allowed So we should just be cool with everybody being poor so Jeff Bezos or whoever can upgrade his megayacht to a gigayacht or whatever? Let me say this in the politest way I know how: LOL no. Also, do you remember when I said this? ‘Won’t someone please think of the billionaires’ is wearing kinda thin You know, right before you went on this very long-winded, surreal, barely-coherent ramble? Did you imagine I would be convinced by literally any of it when all it amounts to is one giant, extraneous, tedious equivalent of 'Won't someone please think of the billionaires?' Simp harder and I bet maybe you can get a crumb or two yourself.
