Earlier this month, Wikipedia scrapped its experiment with AI-generated article summaries following backlash from the site’s editors. Meanwhile, Russia is actively promoting its heavily state-censored online encyclopedia, Ruwiki, where a built-in neural network is touted as a key advantage over competitors.
