TLDR: 3.11 is twice as fast as 3.10 at doing global name lookups, so an old speedup hack of aliasing a global function locally isn't needed. For example, when calling len() in a loop, going l=len, and calling l() in the loop was faster in 3.10. In 3.11, moreso in 3.13, it's almost a wash. However, the author says this: Accessing functions through a module [e.g. math.sin()] or a deep attribute chain can still carry overhead. Creating a local alias or using "from module import name" continues to be effective in those situations. But when I look at the numbers, I would say 3.13 is pretty close to making it an unnecessary optimization in general. A little subjective on how you interpret the numbers. Great info, but this was like trying to use a recipe and reading the author's life story to get there.

That's why I generalized my answer to USB and not only USB-C.

Does anybody know of a resource that's compiled known to be affected system or motherboard models using this specific BMC? Eclypsium said the line of vulnerable AMI MegaRAC devices uses an interface known as Redfish. Server makers known to use these products include AMD, Ampere Computing, ASRock, ARM, Fujitsu, Gigabyte, Huawei, Nvidia, Supermicro, and Qualcomm. Some, but not all, of these vendors have released patches for their wares.

I thought Trump and Elon had a major falling out? Actually now that I think of it, news about that fizzled out very quickly. Did they silently kiss and make up behind closed doors or something?

I spent way too long researching the morning. That industry implies a much greater population that is attracted to children. Things get more nuanced. People are attracted to different stages, like prebubesant, early adolescence, and mid to late adolescence. It seems like an important distinction because this is a common mental disorder. I was ready to write this comment about my fear that there's a bunch of evil pedophiles living among us who are simply deterred by legal or social pressures. It seems more like the extreme stigma of pedophilia has prevented individuals from seeking assistance and has resulted in more child sexual abuse. This sort of disorder can be caused by experiencing this abuse at a younger age. When I was religious, we worked closely with an organization to help victims of trafficking. We had their stories. They entered our lives. I took care of some of these kids. As a victim of sexual abuse when I was kid, I had a hatred for these kinds of people. I feel like my brain is melting seeing how there is a high chance of people in my life being attracted to children. This isn't really to justify the industry. I'm just realizing that general harassing people openly about it might not be helping the situation.

Or, how about they fuck off and leave me alone with my private data? I don't want to have to pay for something that should be an irrevocable right. Even if you completely degoogle and whatnot, these cunts will still get hold of your data one way or the other. Its sickening.
