Probably made a good deal selling the data they harvested off to the highest bidder(s), not to mention the projected revenue from targeting ads at this demographic.
Truly despicable how openly two-faced these megacorps are with this "protect the children!" schlock they're using to force us to give them even more of our personal information while actively going against the very principles they claim are the reason for such invasive practices.
