Everyone should have total rights to all their biometrics. Its ridiculous to have it otherwise. Even parody and satire should not be an exact thing it should be similar like someone dressing up like them.

I think the main one is that Nostr is supposed to be really simple, and derive some security/privacy from that simplicity. Whereas ATProto and ActivityPub store and forward content so that each rely has a copy, on Nostr nodes the messages are all ephemeral. So it has something of a following with crypto bros and privacy enthusiasts. With nostr IDs are also based on public/private keys unlike ATProto/ActivityPub that use a username@instancename scheme, so signing and identifying content that belongs to a user is easier and more guaranteed to be correct.

The unfortunate reality of an app like this is that it requires a level of privacy that few are equipped to utilize. Everyone who downloads ICEblock gets logged by Apple accordingly. Everyone who receives notifications from ICEBlock are similarly logged. The White House has made it abundantly clear that they will prosecute "to the fullest extent of the law".
